About Me
Hi! Thanks for taking the time to read my page! My name is Michael, I love Music and if I was about 3 or 4 inches taller, I would be trying to be the next quarterback for the New England Patriots. Football is in fact my second passion and any excuse we have, you can find myself, my younger brother, and my father playing catch. Like our favorite quarterback, Tom Brady, I have always strived for greatness. My goal in life is to have just one person look at me the way I look at the people who inspire me and say, “Wow, Mike is the greatest at (insert here)”. I strive to be the best at what I do. I pride myself on my work ethic both inside and out of the rehearsal room and aspire to inspire the next generation of young performers.
The best thing about me, however, is the thing that is most important to me; the people I surround myself with. My family is everything to me. And I don’t just mean my blood. Everyone who earns my trust is a part of my family and inherits my unconditional and unwavering love. My friends and family have made me the man I am today and I always be grateful for them.
My Work
Michael Louis Curcio is a Multi-hyphenate Actor-Singer-Musician-Composer-Voice Teacher. Training from a young age, Michael’s singing and acting take the forefront of his passion for the arts. As dedicated as he is to improve on his own voice, he also takes great joy in doing the same for others. Michael started teaching voice as a freshman in college, and by senior year was not only a teacher for the freshman acting class, but even got accepted into the prestigious Boston Conservatory at Berklee’s Musical Theatre Vocal Pedagogy MFA. Post grad, Michael has founded the MLC Studio for Voice (see lessons tab) been asked back to his Alma Mater of Ithaca College (voice teacher for workshops and summer intensives) and has students not only all over the country but internationally (Canada). He also Musical Directs very regularly.
Michael received his BFA from Ithaca College and has used his talents not only on stage, but also in Film and Television. Michael can be seen in the 2023 feature Movie With All My Friends.
Notice that there is no section on Michael’s dance experience …however he does love to tap every now and then!
Michael is a long-time musician and started his work on guitar. He then began teaching himself piano, and went from a beginner chord reader, to being a full-time accompanist in college, as well as playing industry auditions post-grad. Michael is also proficient on the Saxophone, and likes to dabble in other woodwinds, as well as playing the Harp in high school, and drums occasionally.
As a composer, Michael has written songs both for personal albums and hopefully a future musical!

As both a person and artist, I am passionate about creating and maintaining a diverse and inclusive environment for all. We must all strive towards equity in all that it entails. It is essential that we put effort into enacting positive social change by supporting individuals and organizations who are championing against oppression across America.
